Aaliyah's One in a Million changed the game, and no one saw it coming! First a majority of the production was done by Missy Elliot and Timbaland, but they were not well known at the time. This pairing produced a sound that was unheard of and created three superstars in the process. The CD went on to sell 10 million copies worldwide. The thing about Aaliyah is that she was young,but they the music was mature and bold. It did not play to her being so young, and that was the genius move. The CD was well produced from beginning to the end.
